For Immediate Release: Sunday, January 08, 2006 Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures Named Fundraiser Of The Year By March Of Dimes/Long Island Lynbrook, NY (January 9, 2006) – Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures was honored as Fundraiser of the Year by the Long Island division of the March of Dimes, at the organization’s annual New York chapter awards dinner on December 8. Donna Hanover, television personality and author, and long-time volunteer for the March of Dimes, presented the award to Jeffrey Ravetz, Paul Cooper and Louis Sheinker, principals of LREV. “The principals of Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures were the March of Dimes’ first real estate honorees, the first chairs for the consolidated golf tournament, and the first chairs of the March of Dimes tennis tournament. As the Long Island chairman for the past three years, Jeff Ravetz’s belief in the March of Dimes mission has led the division to greatness. Collectively Jeff, Paul and Louis have been responsible for raising close to $1 million. They have also recruited honorees, new committee members and new friends to the organization. It was Jeff’s vision to run a tennis tournament in East Hampton, and with a few phone calls and a few twists of the racket, the event has become the ‘love’ of the East End. It is our honor to recognize Lighthouse’s outstanding accomplishments.” Mr. Ravetz said, “The honor is entirely ours. It has been a great privilege as well as a joy to help enlarge the universe of supporters as well as the pool of financial resources available to sustain the vital work of the March of Dimes Long Island Division. The entire Lighthouse organization is proud to participate.” About Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures Lighthouse Real Estate Ventures, Inc.
